Fitness Challenge

Since I've put on a solid 50 lbs during pregnancy, I am happy to announce that I am down 25!  GO ME!  Thanks to Sean T with Insanity and our daily 2 mile walks!  This past weekend Nolan and daddy got some good quality one on one daddy son bonding time while Mommy got her hair done (twice)- Mommy told the hair dresser she hasn't looked good in 9 months (no pressure!)  The boys did really well without Mom and Nolan got away with sleeping in his swing for nap time tsk tsk!

And once again the weather was amazing so this Sunday we skipped out on church and hit up a new forest preserve for a little 4 mile hike!  Nolan snoozed through the picnic and rough off trail roading-

After mile #2 Rudy was tired- Now this is a smiling dog if I've ever seen one!  Not even embarrassed by the other walking dogs in the park, Rudy rode this wave for at least a half a mile! 

We came home in time for some snuggles and kisses on the couch- "Mom, please stop embarrassing me!"

And of course, bubble blowing.

Last, one more thing to add to the living room and part of Nolan's daily routine, Mommy bought me a bumbo seat!  Now I can practice sitting up!  Don't I look so big?!

College Friends

I have several amazing friends I went to college with, but rarely get to see (only on weddings and annual girls weekends)  but on this occasion a few of my bests Amy, Trina from Milwaukee came to visit accompanied by Erika and Jake.  Nolan even got to hang out with his best bud Griffyn while mommy and her friends got to catch up.  Only 4 weeks apart but almost the same size!

Amy and Trina fought over who was going to hold Nolan, Trina won.  What a great day I miss you girls!

St Patty's Day

We have been so lucky lately with this amazing weather!  For St Patty's Day we were so lucky to get a visit from Uncle Boo!  We went on a walk to a local Irish joint and enjoyed a mohito (not Irish) and some Irish snacks on a gorgeous 75 degree day- Mommy already has her summer tan!  Uncle Boo, well he decided to keep his long sleeves on to avoid over exposure ;-)  We made it back in time for Nolan to have some snuggles with his uncle and a bottle from Mommy.

Then on Sunday March 16th Mommy and Daddy Nolan and Rudy walked around downtown St Charles and soaked up the sun.  Another 70-80 degree day in March- Daddy made some rum punch and we sat on the deck and ENJOYED- Rudy got his hair cut and Nolan got some good snoozes on the deck.  What a great family Sunday!
